A pioneer in rehabilitation and biomedical engineering, being the first Certified Clinical Engineer in Hong Kong, a founding member of the biomedical discipline, the founding Chairman of the Association for Engineering and Medical Volunteer Services, the forerunner to help establish the first biomedical engineering degree course in Hong Kong.

A reformer in making Hong Kong smart and green by upkeeping safety, reliability and sustainability of public utilities and engineering services, and enabling the realisation of infrastructures and facilities that makes Hong Kong great in respect of liveability and connectivity with world class air, land and marine transport.
