Prof. Chunshan Song is the Dean of Science and Wei Lun Professor of Chemistry at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Fuel Science and Chemical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University in the US. He has made pioneering contributions to sustainable energy solutions including ‘molecular basket’ sorbents engineering for adsorptive CO2 separation, tri-reforming for industrially useful syngas, catalytic CO2 conversion, adsorptive desulfurization and plasma catalytic conversion of SO2. With 550 refereed journal papers, 15 books, 8 patents and h-index of 113 (Google Scholar), he is a world-renowned leader in energy, heterogeneous catalysis and chemical engineering.
