Profile

David Morris lived and worked in the Far East, in Hong Kong, for 25 years. His first appointment arose after Freeman Fox & partners were appointed by the Governmentof Hong Kong to implement the first stage of the Mass Transit Railway. As project Manager, David brought his large scale multidisciplinary site experience to bear on the new railway construction. After opening of the first section to Central, David joined the Jardine group as CEO of Gammon (Hong Kong) Ltd which at the time was a fully owned subsidiary of Jardines. Later he retired and set up David Morris Associates, consulting engineers and offered advisory services in project management, dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation, prior experience included geotechnical investigation, earth dam construction and low cost road stabilisation in Britain, Trinidad and Kenya.
