Profile

Ir Prof. Tso is currently an Associate Dean (Internationalisation and Outreach) and Associate Professor at the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong. He holds BEng, MPhil, and PhD degrees from HKUST and was a Fulbright-RGC Fellow at UC Berkeley. He joined CityUHK in 2018 and was promoted early to Associate Professor in 2023. His research spans heat transfer, thermal management, energy efficient building technologies, and indoor built environment. He has published over 100 journal publications, filed 18 patents, and founded i2Cool Limited, a startup focused on commercializing passive radiative cooling technologies.
