Prof. Wang is a Professor and Associate Dean of the College of Computing at City University of Hong Kong. He received his Ph.D. from Peking University and B.Sc. from Harbin Institute of Technology. His research spans artificial intelligence, generative AI, embodied AI, AI for science, and multimedia communication, with 24,400+ Google Scholar citations, and an H-index of 72. He is recognized among Stanford's World's Top 2% Most-Cited Scientists and as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, and is an awardee of the RGC Research Fellow Scheme and the NSFC Excellent Young Scientist Fund.
