Profile

Yuhao Zhang is a Full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Co-Founder/Associate Director of the HKU Centre for Advanced Semiconductors and Integrated Circuits (CASIC). He was previously a tenured Associate Professor at Virginia Tech and a postdoctoral fellow at MIT, where he also earned his Ph.D. and S.M. degrees. He is a recognized academic leader in power semiconductors, power electronics, and wide/ultra-wide bandgap semiconductor devices. He has authored over 250 papers, secured substantial research funding from government and industry sources, and earned numerous prestigious honours.
