Profile

Alex M. H. Wong received the B.A.Sc. (2006), M.A.Sc. (2009), and Ph.D. (2014) degrees from the University of Toronto, Canada. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include applied electromagnetics, superoscillation, metasurfaces, antennas and wireless power transfer. He has authored more than 40 journal papers and 75 conference proceedings. Alex is a recipient of the IEEE R.W.P. King Award, the IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship, and the URSI Young Scientist Award among others. Alex is born in Hong Kong and fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
